Identity Verification for Paid Recommendations

If you want to make paid recommendations with SparkLoop, you must verify your identity through Stripe.

This verification is required by Stripe and cannot be completed directly inside SparkLoop. Once your identity is verified in Stripe, SparkLoop is automatically notified, and the final step in your paid recommendations checklist is marked as complete.

To verify your identity, please go to your paid recommendations checklist here. The process usually takes about 4 minutes.

Can I apply as a company?
No. Stripe’s identity verification is only available for individuals. The verification process is handled entirely by Stripe, and SparkLoop cannot bypass or modify this requirement. If you encounter issues during verification, you will need to contact Stripe directly.

Do I need to upload an ID?
Yes. Stripe requires identity verification using a government-issued ID, such as a passport or driver’s license. The exact document requested depends on Stripe and your country. SparkLoop does not have access to your Stripe verification details.

Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes. You need a Stripe Express account to complete identity verification and receive payouts. The verification flow will prompt you to create or connect one if you don’t already have it.

At the moment, Stripe Express is available in the following countries:

If your country is not listed, Stripe does not currently support Stripe Express there, and you won’t be able to complete identity verification at this time.
