Optimize how your Partner Program spend is used across the month

SparkLoop offers two ways to optimize how your monthly Partner Program spend is distributed throughout the month.

Optimized (recommended)

Your Partner Program spend is optimized by SparkLoop's algorithm to drive high quality new subscribers as efficiently as possible.

This is the best option for publishers who care about reaching high quality subscribers and who would like to utilize as much of their monthly spend as possible effectively in the month.

Daily Caps

For smaller publishers, SparkLoop can limit your publication's appearance in your partners' recommendations widgets on a daily basis.

In most cases, this will limit the number of referrals you receive on any given day, meaning your monthly spend will likely be distributed more evenly across the month.

In-email recommendations are not affected, however, meaning there is no guarantee that smaller spend caps will not be used up within just a few days (for example, if a large publication recommends you in their newsletter).

This option limits SparkLoop's ability to drive the highest quality subscribers to your publication and may result in slower growth for you, as we're not able to efficiently reach your spend cap each month.

We recommend only using Daily Caps if you have a small or beginner newsletter, or if you send less frequently than once per week.

How to change your pacing strategy

  1. Go to your Partner Program settings > CPA & Spend

  2. Under the Budget section, find Spend Pacing.

  3. Select Optimized or Daily Caps.

  4. Save your changes.

The change takes effect immediately.

FAQ

What happens if my daily cap runs out mid-day?
Your publication will stop appearing in partners' recommendations widgets for the rest of the day. It will automatically resume the next day with a fresh daily cap. Partner publications will still however be able to recommend you via in-email recommendations, even when your daily cap has been used up.

Can I switch between modes at any time?
Yes. Switching to Daily Caps triggers an immediate recalculation. Switching back to Optimized removes the daily cap instantly and allows us to optimize your results for better growth and performance.

Does Daily Caps change my total monthly spend cap?
No. Your total spend caps stays the same β€” Daily Caps only controls how it's distributed over time and inhibits our ability to drive performance for you.
