This guide will show you how to generate and copy the required API key to connect your EmailOctopus account with SparkLoop.

You need to be logged in as an owner to your EmailOctopus account to generate an API key.

Once you are logged in, navigate to the top right dropdown, and click on "Integrations & API".

On that page you will see a section called "Developer tools", and underneath there should be a sub-section called "API", click on the "Manage" button.

You will be redirected to a different page from where you can generate a new API key. Click on "Create key", enter a custom name, for example "SparkLoop", and click on "Create".

On the next screen, you should be able to see a pop-up with your new API key, that looks like "12345abc-1234-abcd-1234-123456abcdef", copy the value and paste it in SparkLoop.

IMPORTANT: You won't be able to see that key again, so please make sure you copy the exact value, otherwise you would have to generate a new key.
