If you’re running a Partner Program, your newsletter can be recommended in three different ways: Upscribe, Magic Links, and Partner Links.

Upscribe

Upscribe is our newsletter recommendation widget. It allows your partner newsletters to recommend your publication to eligible new subscribers, right after they opt-in to the partner's newsletter.

If your partner program is working correctly, Upscribe will be your most successful acquisition channel: Making up > 75% of your referrals with extremely high quality and engagement.

Your publication will only be recommended in Upscribe to visitors who SparkLoop's Smart Recommendations Algorithm detects are likely to become "ideal subscribers" to your publication.

This includes looking at first and third-party enrichment data on the individual subscriber and their preferences. This guarantees we're showing your publication to the right people at the right time.

Magic Links

Magic Links are a powerful tool we invented at SparkLoop to allow your publication to be recommended inside other newsletter sends with a single click.

Magic links reduce friction in the signup process, boosting the performance of in-email recommendations by 70-100% — with the same high subscriber quality and engagement as a “normal” partner link.

All clicks to Magic Links are automatically checked for bots using best-in-class anti-fraud technology. This ensures all clicks on Magic Links are subscribers who are interested in joining and reading your newsletter.

Partner Links

Partner Links are "affiliate" links that send a clicker to your newsletter landing page. While they are higher friction than Magic Links, they can also be used outside of email in blog posts, social media, and more.
