This article will walk you through how to find and utilize your free recommendations invite link so that you can maximize your newsletter growth.
How to find your free recommendations link
First, go to the Free Recommendations tab in your SparkLoop account.
Next, in the top right-hand corner of the Free Recommendations page, click on "+ Add Free Recommendation".
From there, you'll see a directory of free recommendations you can choose from. By clicking on a publication, you can either send a partnership request or add the recommendation.
Below explains the difference between the two:
"Send Partnership Request": Once a partner accepts your request, your publications will be added to each other's Upscribe widgets as free recommendations. You'll be recommending each other for free.
"Add Recommendation": By clicking "Add Recommendation" you'll add that publication to your Upscribe widget as a free recommendation.
Understanding your Free Recommendations dashboard
Your Free Recommendations dashboard tells you:
Who you're recommending
The subscribers you've sent to publications you're recommending
Publications that are recommending you
Number of subscribers received
For a detailed view of your top recommendations, scroll to the bottom of the page where you can see the number of sent and received referrals by publication.
You can also access this in the left-hand side navigation bar under "Recommendations".
Where to share your link
To be successful with free recommendations, we advise inviting publications with similar topics and growth trajectories.
A good place to discover these newsletters is through our NEW Newsletter Radar tool. With Newsletter Radar, you can discover publications your audiences loves, as well as publications similar to yours.
You can access the Newsletter Radar tool directly in your Free Recommendations dashboard, or by clicking "Newsletter Radar" in the left-hand side navigation bar.
