How to prevent an error with Upscribe on your beehiiv account.

When it comes to using Upscribe in your Beehiiv newsletter, the way to install it is by using Google tag manager.

However, sometimes, if the script is installed more than once, which can look something like this:

This can prevent your Upscribe widget from being triggered and appearing on your page, which can hurt your number of referrals.

So, how do we fix this?

The way to fix this is by deleting the extra scripts that are installed on your landing page.

Deleting this should be easy, like this:

However, if this does not work, you will need to reverse the installation process.
