π Referral Programs are no longer available to new SparkLoop users. If you already have a Referral Program set up, this article is here to help. Looking to grow your newsletter instead? Check out our Recommendations Hub and Signup Flow.
You've created your reward. You've added a snazzy image to entice your advocates to share their referral links. And now it's time to make sure that when those referrals come flooding in, your advocates are not only rewarded quickly, but automatically.
The reward fulfilment page is where we set all this up.
When you create a reward, you are automatically taken to the fulfilment page. There, you can select how you'll get it to your advocates.
Step 1: Select fulfilment options
When it comes to the ways you can fulfil the rewards, you have a variety of options to choose from.
Link/Download
This is the option to choose if you're offering a module of a digital course, an ebook, or a pdf report. Simply include the download link in your automated reward email.
Generic Coupon
A single, reusable coupon code sent to every winner. Good if you're not worried about subscribers sharing their coupon code. Learn more about coupon types here.
Unique Coupon
Single-use coupon codes unique to every subscriber who wins a reward β so you don't have to worry about people sharing them. Here's how to format your CSV file.
Printful
SparkLoop's Printful integration makes fulfilling physical rewards a breeze. T-shirts, mugs, hoodies β anything you have in a Printful store can be used as a reward. When you select this option, you'll be asked to connect your Printful account.
Custom/Zapier (digital rewards)
If you'd like to set up custom reward fulfilment of digital rewards using Zapier or our API, select this option.
β οΈ Custom rewards via Zapier or our API are available on our Creator plan and above.
Custom/Zapier (physical rewards)
For automating fulfilment of physical rewards where you need to collect shipping details. Learn how to use this fulfilment method here β
Manual
Select this if you've decided to handle fulfilment manually, or if subscribers need to contact you to claim their reward (e.g. personalized rewards like an event invitation).
Step 2: Implement reward emails
The reward email is sent to subscribers when they win a reward to let them know how they can access it. There are two options:
Send an automated email via SparkLoop
If you'd like SparkLoop to trigger a reward email automatically each time a reward is won, you can set that up here. Make sure to fill in the Subject and use merge tags in the body with links, coupon codes, and other details they need.
Send an automated email via your ESP
If you'd rather use your ESP to send reward emails, select this option. Learn how to set up your reward email automations here.
Activating your reward
By default, your reward is saved as a draft. In order for it to be live and ready to send, you need to activate it once you've chosen fulfilment options and decided on how you'll send your reward emails.
